High School Musical "Gabriella: When I was singing with you, I felt like just a girl. Troy: You even look like one too!" The Christmas holidays bring Troy and Gabriella together for karaoke. After the holidays they fall back together. Troy is a basketball star at his high school and Gabriella is the new student who is a genius. When Troy and Gabriella meet again, they decide to audition for the annual school musical.
Troy's best friend Chad and Gabriella's new friend Taylor try to talk them out of this plan. Meanwhile, the jealous Sharpay Evans conspires to squelch their chances. To achieve their dream they will have to face the prejudice of their classmates and will teach the whole school the value of friendship, acceptance, and how to be oneself.
